The Small Gardens Festival, as its name suggests, celebrates Ludlow’s smaller gardens which lie outside the town centre.
Set up in 2011, the ethos of the Festival is to link residents and gardeners across all areas of the town and to encourage visitors to discover some of the hidden, less well-known gems of Ludlow – and what can be done in a small space!
Browse and enjoy 18 very different gardens – as well as cream teas and refreshments, cocktails, live music from Vintage Jazz Revival, paintings by local artists, ironwork from a local blacksmith, bird feeders from local slate, a variety of stalls, flower arrangement displays and workshops and plus hedgehogs, guinea pigs and chickens for the younger visitors.
